We don’t add vendors. We subtract them.

The #1 thing we actually do for most clients? Get them off dependencies. We help you leave overpriced providers, transition away from stacks that don’t fit, consolidate what’s working, and — where it makes sense — build your own independent solutions so you’re beholden to no one. Our goal isn’t to lock you into more tools. It’s to get you free.

About TNT Nerds

The old ways aren’t gone.
They just got harder to find.

Somewhere along the way, customer service stopped meaning service. Bots. Tickets. Auto-replies. Squeaky wheels replaced instead of oiled. Customers treated as replaceable line items. We do not share that methodology.

Built on

I started when I was 15 years old. Over three decades later, I’m still doing things the long way — honest, fair, transparent. Through sacrifice and hard work done smart. Earning trust the good old-fashioned way: one conversation, one problem solved, one kept promise at a time.

That’s why our clients entrust us with their core accounts — social media, payment portals, the keys to their business. Some platforms have finally caught up with granular team permissions, but long before that, we were being handed credentials on trust alone. Our reputation for privacy and security has to be second to none, because our clients are trusting us with more than just their tech.

Many became loyal patrons by dealing with us at a distance first — watching us show up, watching us follow through, earning their confidence before we’d ever met face to face. They’ll tell you about us themselves. References aren’t something we dodge — they’re something we offer. Just ask.

Seems like the old ways are disappearing. But today, they’re more needed than they’ve ever been.

Yours,

Louie Gatteny

FAQ

Questions. Answered.

The things people ask us most — written in plain English, without the sales pitch. Don’t see your question? Just ask — we read every message.

What’s included in your Small Business Growth Program?

The Growth Program is full-stack technology management for small businesses. We handle everything under one roof: IT support, web hosting & development, email & office platforms, business phone systems, AI integration, workflow automation, security, data backups, creative & media production, and marketing & community tools. One team, every platform, instead of you juggling a dozen vendors. Phase 1 is capped at 10 clients so every client gets real attention.

Do you replace our current IT person or work alongside them?

Either. Most of our clients bring us in to replace a patchwork of vendors with a single partner. But if you have an in-house tech person or a trusted outside resource, we work alongside them — filling gaps, handling what they can’t, and never stepping on toes. Tell us the situation and we’ll adapt.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

During business hours (Monday–Sunday, 9am–6pm ET), expect a response within a couple of hours for most issues — often much faster. Critical outages are prioritized. After hours, we handle emergencies for Growth Program clients on a same-day basis whenever possible. No tickets, no call queues — you reach a real person.

Can you help us migrate off [our current vendor/platform]?

Yes — migrations are one of the things we do most. Email, hosting, domain management, CRMs, phone systems, file storage, payroll, accounting tools — if you’re locked into something that isn’t serving you, we’ll plan and execute the move with minimal downtime. Part of onboarding every Growth Program client is a clean-up pass that often saves them more per month than they pay us.

Do you work on Macs, PCs, or both?

Both, plus Linux, Chromebooks, iPhones, iPads, Android devices, smart TVs, printers, routers, and pretty much anything else with a plug. If you own it and it uses electricity and a screen, we can probably help.

Do you come to my house or is it all remote?

Both. In-home visits cover Orlando and surrounding Central Florida communities. For everything else — software issues, account setup, tune-ups, virus cleanup, tech questions — remote support is usually faster and less expensive. We’ll tell you honestly which one fits the problem.

What do you charge for residential tech help?

Residential work is priced per issue, not by the hour — because nobody wants a meter running while their computer reboots. We quote the job up front based on scope, and if it turns out to be simpler or more complex than expected, we’ll tell you. No surprises. Call or email and we’ll give you a real number.

My computer is really old. Is it worth fixing or should I just replace it?

Depends on the machine, the problem, and what you use it for. Sometimes a $50 SSD upgrade makes a 6-year-old laptop feel brand new. Sometimes the motherboard is dying and nothing will save it. We’ll give you an honest assessment — including a straight-up “that one’s done” if that’s the truth. Selling you work you don’t need isn’t how we stay in business.

Are TNT Apps really free? What’s the catch?

The public library apps are genuinely free and open-source — keep them, fork them, modify them, share them. The only real-world cost involved is that some AI-powered apps use third-party services (like OpenAI or Anthropic) that charge usage-based fees directly to you for tokens consumed. We don’t mark that up, we don’t subscribe you to anything, and you can always swap in a different AI provider. TNT itself charges zero subscription fees.

What’s the difference between the library apps and the branded suite?

The public library is open to everyone. The branded suite takes those same apps and rebrands them for each client — same functionality, your logo, your colors, your business info baked in. Every Growth Program client gets the branded suite included with their engagement at no additional cost from us. Fully exclusive custom builds (bespoke apps just for your business) are scoped per client based on need.

Can you build a custom app for my business?

Yes. If you have an idea for a tool, internal app, calculator, customer-facing product, or automation, we’ll scope and build it. Modern stack, AI where it fits, clean code. When it’s done, you own the full codebase, all IP, and every right to modify or redeploy it however you want. No licensing dance, no monthly rent.

What apps are you building first?

Our active development list includes Scam Sniffer (paste a suspicious message, spot a scam), Thumbnail Studio (mini-Photoshop without the learning curve), AI Micro-Games, Study Buddy, Daily Planner, and Expense Tracker. First public releases are coming soon. On the client side we’re already building tools like a Mascot Voice & Podcast Generator, Internal Comms apps, Blog/News Author tools, and AI PDF generators.

You want the passwords to our core accounts. How do we know our data is safe?

Fair question — it’s the one we take most seriously. Our reputation for privacy and security has to be second to none because our clients trust us with more than just tech. We use enterprise password managers with audit trails, we prefer delegated access and team-member roles wherever platforms support them, we use hardware security keys on sensitive accounts, and we never use anything over public WiFi. If a platform doesn’t support granular permissions, we document exactly what credentials we’ve been given, store them encrypted, and rotate them whenever a client asks. You can revoke our access at any time, for any reason, and we’ll help you do it.

Can you provide references from current clients?

Absolutely — references aren’t something we dodge, they’re something we offer. Current Phase 1 clients include Cameron Academy, Elite Animation Academy, RCKC Management, and Smooth Waters Creative, among others. Reach out and we’ll put you in touch with real owners who can tell you what working with us is actually like, unfiltered.

Do you share my data or use it to train anything?

No. We don’t sell data, don’t use client data for AI training, and don’t share anything with advertising networks. Where third-party AI services are involved in apps we build, we use API-level access with data-retention settings configured to respect your privacy (no model training on your inputs), and we disclose exactly which third parties touch your data in every engagement.

What happens to our data if we stop working together?

You own everything, always. If we part ways, we’ll hand over all credentials, transfer ownership of every account and asset, export any data you want in standard formats, and walk your next provider through the handoff if you’d like. No hostage-taking, no “we control the domain so good luck,” no fees for releasing what was already yours.

How much does the Small Business Growth Program cost?

The Growth Program starts at $1,250 one-time startup fee (covers full onboarding, audit, migrations, and your first month of service). After that, the ongoing rate is $500/month at the intro tier — and you can stay at $500/month indefinitely with everything we promised included. There’s an optional $1,250/month full tier for clients who want to unlock deeper partnership and Phase 2 graduation (dedicated team hires, expanded scope). Phase 1 is capped at 10 clients, and current availability is limited.

Is there a contract or long-term commitment?

We do use a simple engagement agreement that spells out what we’re doing, what you’re paying, and what happens if either side wants out — mostly so nobody is confused later. But there’s no lock-in, no auto-escalating pricing, and no penalties for leaving. We earn your business every month, or we don’t deserve it.

How do I know if I’m a good fit for the Growth Program?

The Growth Program is designed for small businesses that are tired of juggling vendors, subscriptions, and systems that don’t talk to each other. If you want one team handling your tech stack end-to-end — and you value real relationships over ticket numbers — we’re probably a fit. If you have a tech stack that’s working fine and you just need occasional help, residential-style per-issue support is a better match. A free consultation sorts it out in 20 minutes.

What’s Phase 2 and when does it happen?

Phase 2 is the next stage of TNT Nerds — where we hire dedicated team members, expand our services, and deepen partnerships with clients who want more than what Phase 1 covers. Graduation is rolling, not cohort-based: individual Phase 1 clients move into Phase 2 on their own timeline based on need and scope. It’s optional — clients are welcome to stay at the intro tier forever.

Still have questions? Just ask.

Welcome to the neighborhood.
